Hope for When God Moves the Finish Line
Recently, I’ve been listening to the Book of Mark as I get ready for work in the mornings. Although I had downloaded a fully dramatized version, complete with quills scratching on parchment, dogs barking, creaking doors, and busy street-market background sounds, I instead chose to enjoy a simple narration spoken by a gentleman named . . .

Willing to Wait
One morning before work, I felt prompted to take a miniature tin bucket with me to give to a family. Pausing to listen for further guidance from the Holy Spirit, I felt that I was to share the following word of exhortation with them and then to present the little pail as a tangible reminder of God's promise to them.

Proceed to the Route
After getting rear-ended a couple of weeks ago, our insurance company provided a rental while our car was being repaired. What's Mine is Yours
Last Fall, a good friend and I embarked on an 8-hour road trip to Michigan. The long journey allowed for deep conversation with this young man who is like a son in the faith to me. As the miles passed and the fuel gauge began to creep towards "E," we stopped at a Pilot to refuel. Enjoying the opportunity to stretch and feeling a little . . .

A Champion of Encouragement
Recently, I came across a video on my Twitter feed from a friend whose son had finished treatment at a children’s hospital. Having known of this precious one since he was very small, my heart was moved as I watched this now little boy pass under a “You are a Hero” sign and confidently walk down a hallway lined with wildly . . .
